DKV ISI Yogyakarta Students Make National Achievements, Their Work Appears on Sosro 2025 Bottled Tea Packaging

Yogyakarta, October 27, 2025 - Students of the Visual Communication Design (DKV) Study Program at Institut Seni Indonesia (ISI) Yogyakarta again made proud achievements at the national level. Vania Rahma Dhiyanti, DKV student class of 2022, was successfully selected as one of the 23 best works in the 2025 Sosro Bottled Tea Design Competition, with a work entitled "Alam Luhur Nusantara."

The competition, organized by PT Sinar Sosro, carries the theme of "The Goodness of Indonesian Nature" and a prestigious event for young designers across Indonesia. Through warmly colored and dynamic illustrations, Vania's work displays the life of Indonesian agrarian society in harmony with nature, depicting green rice fields, rivers, and villagers' activities that illustrate harmony and gratitude for nature.

Features of the work "Alam Luhur Nusantara" did not stop at the judging stage. The design was directly selected to be applied as the official packaging design for the 2025 edition of Teh Botol Sosro, making it a real work on the market. Vania's visual illustration is now displayed on the product packaging, becoming part of the national campaign "Kebaikan Alam Indonesia" initiated by Sosro as a form of appreciation for the creativity of the nation's children.

Through her illustrations, Vania describes the lush green expanse and natural wealth of the archipelago as a source of life and prosperity that should be preserved together. This success is clear evidence that the learning process at ISI Yogyakarta is able to respond to the needs of the creative industry, especially in the field of packaging design and product branding. Student work that is used directly by national brands is a concrete form of academic integration with industrial practice. Vania's work was also exhibited in the 2025 Sosro Bottled Tea Works Exhibition which was held on September 18 to October 5, 2025. The exhibition featured the best works from all participants and became a forum for collaboration between young designers and the national beverage industry.

This achievement strengthens ISI Yogyakarta's position as an art college that actively contributes to the development of Indonesia's creative industry. With the support of a curriculum that is adaptive to industry developments and market trends, ISI Yogyakarta continues to produce young designers who are able to present innovative, applicable and globally competitive work.
