ISI Yogyakarta again recorded a proud achievement through one of its lecturers, Anon Suneko, M.Sn. who received an official invitation to join the Erasmus + International Credit Mobility (ICM) Staff Mobility program at University College Dublin (UCD), Ireland. Anon Suneko, M.Sn. participated in the 15-day staff mobility program, from 17 to 31 August 2025, at the UCD School of Music.
As a program participant, Anon Suneko, M.Sn. received full support through an Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility grant that covered travel allowances, ticket costs, daily allowances and accommodation while in Ireland. The achievement of one of the lecturers of the Karawitan Study Program, Faculty of Performing Arts ISI Yogyakarta is a breath of fresh air in efforts to establish international cooperation in an era of budget efficiency.
UCD Global through Global Projects Officer, Ruth Mariani, expressed her hope that the presence of Anon Suneko, M.Sn. can strengthen academic cooperation between ISI Yogyakarta and UCD, especially in the field of music. While in Ireland Anon Suneko, M.Sn. together with the UCD academic community prepared a collaborative performance that will be performed at JOGJAKARFEST, next December. In December the delegation from UCD will also organize a workshop on traditional Irish wind instruments (Uillean Pipe) for ISI Yogyakarta academics.
The participation of ISI Yogyakarta lecturers in this international program is clear evidence of the campus' commitment to supporting the internationalization of art education and expanding academic networks at the global level.
