Student of Theater Study Program, Faculty of Performing Arts ISI Yogyakarta, Fiora Alicia won the First Winner of WINACTION 2025 Monolog Competition organized by Widyatama University Bandung. WINACTION is a short form of (Widyatama International Competition) which is organized to hone the role art skills of individuals from various cultural backgrounds.
This monologue competition is individualized and uses an elimination system, open to general participants from all over the world. Registration is conducted in two batches, Batch 1 on March 10-27, 2025 and Batch 2 on March 27-April 10, 2025. Meanwhile, the preliminary round is scheduled to take place on April 21-May 5, 2025, and the grand final will be held on May 20, 2025.
The monologue entitled Duka Seorang Jelata led Fiora Alicia to win first place. The monology was created by Fiora Alicia herself. This monologue tells the story of a poor mother (commoner) who is forced to live in the suburbs. She lost her only child, Aini, because she could not afford the medical fees. Aini is seriously ill, and when Siti asks for help from her employer, she gets harsh treatment, even almost harassed.
As the first winner, Fiora Alicia received a trophy, certificate and coaching money. The spirit of Fiora Alicia is expected to motivate ISI Yogyakarta students to participate in various competitions and continue to excel.
