Students of the S1 Craft and D4 Batik Craft Fashion Design Study Program, Faculty of Fine Arts (FSR) ISI Yogyakarta held an exhibition entitled "Miwiti Lampah" from 25 to 27 January 2024, at the R.J. Katamasi Gallery, ISI Yogyakarta. This exhibition displays the work of students of the S1 Craft Study Program and D4 Fashion Design Craft Batik such as batik, crafts made from wood, metal, ceramics and fashion products. The exhibition titled "Miwiti Lampah" was organized to show the public the results of the student learning process and train students to collaborate in organizing events.
The ceremonial opening of the "Miwiti Lampah" exhibition was held on January 25, 2024, at the R.J. Katamasi Gallery ISI Yogyakarta, at 16.00 WIB until completion and was opened by Dr. Alvi Luviani, S. Sn., M.FA as the Head of the S1 Craft Study Program. The opening was attended by lecturers of S1 Craft Study Program and D4 Fashion Design Batik Craft, students and invited guests. Along with the opening, a fashion show was held which featured the work of students of the S1 Craft Study Program and D4 Batik Craft Fashion Design, Faculty of Fine Arts (FSR) ISI Yogyakarta.
The exhibition is open to the general public and is free of charge. In addition to displaying student-generated artworks along with the exhibition, an ecoprint workshop will also be held.
