Sri Warisan, Singapore and the Faculty of Performing Arts signed a cooperation document on November 11, 2023, at Wisma Geylang Serai, Singapore. On this occasion the signed cooperation document consisted of a Memorandum of Agreement (Moa) between FSP ISI Yogyakarta - Sri Warisan, Singapore and an Implementation Arrangement (IA) between the Ethnomusicology Study Program - Sri Warisan. The signing of the MoA, FSP ISI Yogyakarta was represented by Dr. I Nyoman Cau Arsana, M.Sn. and the IA was represented by Drs. Djoko Tri Laksana, M.Sn. always the Department of Ethnomusicology, while from Sri Warisan was represented by Som Said and Adel Ahmad. This signing marks the legalization of cooperation between ISI Yogyakarta and Sri Warisan, Singapore.
The signing of the MoA, and IA between the Department of Ethnomusicology FSP-ISI Yogyakarta and Sri Warisan Singapore in the field of traditional archipelago music aims to provide knowledge and experience for Ethnomusicology students ISI Yogyakarta in working, building relationships, and practicing professional work as a professional musician, arts management official, ethnic music instructor, in the cultural arts ecosystem in Singapore.
FSP ISI Yogyakarta and Sri Warisan, Singapore have been cooperating for a long time, but the cooperation has not been documented in cooperation documents such as MoA and IA. With this cooperation document, it is expected to increase the quantity and quality of cooperation between the two institutions.
Along with the signing of this cooperation document, Dr. I Nyoman Cau Arsana, M.Sn. (Dean of FSP ISI Yogyakarta), Drs. Djoko Tri Laksana, M.Sn. (Head of the Ethnomusicology Study Program), Drs. Sukotjo, M.Hum. (Secretary of the Ethnomusicology Study Program) conducted an ethnic music workshop for Sri Warisan members.
