In response to Law No. 5/2014 on State Civil Apparatus (ASN Law) Article 1, a merit system is defined as ASN policies and management based on qualifications, competencies, and performance, which are applied fairly and reasonably without discrimination.. Based on Law Number 5 of 2014, Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta in collaboration with the Regional Office I BKN Yogyakarta carried out leadership selection activities through the assessment of candidates for Assistant Rector of Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta which was held on Thursday, June 15, 2023 in Meeting Room III Lt. III Rectorate of Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta with 13 assessment participants of Institut Seni Indonesia lecturers who have the academic position of Head Lector.
The assessment was opened by the Rector of Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta (Prof. Dr. Timbul Raharjo, M.Hum,) and continued with a speech by the Head of Regional I BKN Yogyakarta (Drs. Paulus Dwi Laksono Harjono, MAP).
The assessment phase begins with a simulation consisting of a written test and LGD as well as a competency-based interview test guided by 6 assessors from the Regional Office I BKN Yogyakarta.
With the assessment of candidates for Assistant Rector at Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta, it is hoped that it can produce professional and competent leaders who can advance Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta.
