The Faculty of Recording Media Arts (FSMR) ISI Yogyakarta in collaboration with partners from the industrial world provides scholarships to students. The scholarship, which was awarded to coincide with the Opening of the JMMK #13 Exhibition and the 27th anniversary of FSMR ISI Yogyakarta, on October 28, 2021, was named the Industrial Scholarship. On this occasion, the scholarships provided were the result of cooperation between FSMR ISI Yogyakarta and Mythologic Studio. Industrial Scholarships are awarded to 5 D3 Animation FSMR ISI Yogyakarta students, namely Banteng Widiantomo, Rizal Rizfani, Muhammadi Taufik Hidayat, Gilang Ramadhan Permana Putra and Feny Alson Budiman.
The participation of partners from the industrial world in providing scholarships is an effort to further involve the industrial world in the educational process on campus. This step is in line with the concept of the Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka Program rolled out by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia. The Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka Program is a program that is thick with the participation of the industrial world in the learning process in higher education.
The procession of handing over industrial scholarships began with remarks from the CEO of Mithologic Studio, H. Rangga Yudo Yuwono, ST as a representative of the industrial scholarship provider. In his speech, H. Rangga Yudo Yuwono, ST said "Today's industry relies heavily on human resources and these human resources will depend on the younger generation. The provision of this scholarship is one form of giving the baton to the younger generation". The scholarship handover ceremony was followed by the awarding of scholarship certificates by the Rector of ISI Yogyakarta accompanied by the Dean of FSMR ISI Yogyakarta and the CEO of Mythologic Studio. The handover procession ended with remarks from the scholarship student representative, Banteng Widiantomo. In his remarks Banteng Widiantomo expressed his gratitude to Mythologic Studio for providing scholarships and hopefully we as scholarship recipients will be able to prove that we deserve to receive scholarships with achievements that can make the Faculty of Recording Media Arts and ISI Yogyakarta proud.
