Based on a letter from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Number 52821/A.A7/TU.02.03/2021 dated August 2, 2021 Regarding Guidelines for the Implementation of the Flag Ceremony Commemorating the 76th Anniversary of Indonesian Independence, we respectfully submit the following:
1.Theme and Logo
a. The theme for the 76th Anniversary of Indonesian Independence in 2021 is: "Indonesia Resilient, Indonesia Growing";
b. The logo for the Commemoration of the 76th Anniversary of Indonesian Independence in 2021 can be downloaded on the official website of the Ministry of State Secretariat (www.setneg.go.id).
2. Flag Ceremony
a. In connection with the Covid-19 pandemic situation, for the central level, the flag ceremony is centered at the Merdeka Palace Jakarta on 17 August 2021 at 10.00 WIB for the Indonesian Independence Proclamation Seconds Ceremony and at 17.00 WIB for the Red and White Flag Lowering Ceremony;
b. Primary High Leaders or equivalent and all employees within the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology both at the central and regional levels must attend the flag ceremony aired at Rumah Digital Indonesia (www.rumahdigitalindonesia.id) and television stations from their respective residences;
c. All employees within the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology both at the central and regional levels to stop all activities on 17 August 2021 at 10.17 to 10.20 WIB for 3 minutes and sing the National Anthem Indonesia Raya simultaneously to honor the Seconds of Proclamation. Cessation of activities is exempted for activities that have the potential to endanger themselves and others if stopped;
d. Universities/Institutions/Technical Implementation Units in the regions follow the flag ceremony held by the Provincial/Regency/City Government and are required to attend the flag ceremony held at the Merdeka Palace online/virtually from their respective offices after participating in the regional ceremony.
3. All leaders and employees within the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology at the central and regional levels to follow the President's State Speech on August 16, 2021 through various media channels (television, radio, Rumah Digital Indonesia platform and other online media).
4. Starting August 1, 2021, the public can access the Rumah Digital Indonesia platform (www.rumahdigitalindonesia.id). Rumah Digital Indonesia will broadcast a series of Commemoration Ceremonies for the 76th Anniversary of Indonesian Independence in 2021, various art performances, entertainment stages, typical independence games, digital markets for superior micro, small and medium enterprise products, and others that are digitally packaged.
