Jakarta - Friday (12/4) The inauguration and oath of office of the Rector of ISI Yogyakarta for the period 2019 - 2023, Prof. Dr. M. Agus Burhan, M.Hum., by the Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education, took place at the 2nd Floor Auditorium of Building D of the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education, Senayan, Jakarta. The inauguration was held together with the inauguration of the Secretary of the Directorate General of Science, Technology and Higher Education Resources, the Rector of Sebelas Maret University, the Rector of Ganesha University of Education, the Rector of Tanjungpura University, the Rector of West Sulawesi University, the Director of Lhoksumawe Polytechnic, and the Chairperson of LLDikti Region V Yogyakarta.
The following eight officials were appointed:
1. Prof. Dr. Ir. Anondho Wijanarko, M.Eng. was appointed as Secretary of the Directorate General of Science, Technology and Higher Education Resources.
2. Prof. Dr. Jamal Wiwoho, S.H., M.Hum. was inaugurated as the Rector of Sebelas Maret University (UNS) for the 2019-2023 period.
3. Prof. Dr. H. Garuda Wiko, S.H., M.Si. was inaugurated as Rector of Tanjungpura University (Untan) for the 2019-2023 period.
4. Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Jampel, M.Pd. was inaugurated as the Rector of Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) for the 2019-2023 period.
5. Prof. Dr. Mukhamad Agus Burhan, M.Hum. was inaugurated as Rector of Institut Seni Indonesia (ISI) Yogyakarta for the 2019-2023 period.
6. Dr. Ir. Akhsan Djalaluddin, M.S. was inaugurated as Rector of West Sulawesi University (Unsulbar) for the 2019-2023 period.
7. Rizal Syahyadi, S.T., M.Eng.Sc. was appointed as Director of Politeknik Negerl Lhokseumawe (PNL) for the 2019-2023 period.
8. Prof. Dr. Didi Achjari, S.E., M.Com., Akt. was inaugurated as Head of the Higher Education Service Institution (LLDIKTI) Region V Yogyakarta for the 2019-2023 period.
In his remarks, the Minister said that the position is a mandate, so carry out the mandate as well as possible. "Emphasize cooperation with the environment, because this is very important. The other important thing is that universities are able to become good university governance, minister's performance contract with universities. On this occasion, the performance contract between the Rector and the Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education was also conveyed in general regarding accreditation of study programs, publication targets, innovations and prototypes. "Think for the university in an effort to improve the nation's competitiveness. The target we achieve is global competitiveness," he explained.
