Yogyakarta, April 8, 2026 — In order to optimize asset utilization, the Indonesian Institute of the Arts (ISI) Yogyakarta has donated one operational vehicle, a Mitsubishi L300 from 2009, to the AKN Community College of Arts and Culture Yogyakarta.
The grant handover ceremony was symbolically held on Tuesday, April 8, 2026, at Meeting Room 1 of the ISI Yogyakarta Rectorate. The event was attended by the Rector of ISI Yogyakarta, the Director of AKN Arts and Culture Yogyakarta, the Head of General Affairs, and the respective State Asset Management Teams from both institutions.
In his remarks, the Rector of ISI Yogyakarta stated that this vehicle grant is part of an effort to optimize the utilization of State Property (BMN) so that the assets owned can provide broader benefits. It is hoped that the vehicles can be used to their fullest potential to support various operational activities, for both students and lecturers within the Yogyakarta University of Arts and Culture.
Meanwhile, the Director of AKN Yogyakarta Arts and Culture expressed appreciation and gratitude for the grant provided. The vehicle is planned to be used to support student activities, especially in supporting practical learning activities in the field. Some of these include activities at the Yogyakarta Palace and the Sonobudoyo Museum, including for the transportation of costumes and other supporting equipment.
The series of activities concluded with the signing of a handover report as a form of legality and commitment from both parties in utilizing the vehicle.
Through this grant, it is expected that synergy will be increasingly strengthened between ISI Yogyakarta and AKN Seni dan Budaya Yogyakarta in supporting the development of art and culture education, as well as improving the quality of services to students.
