ISI Yogyakarta's Proactive Steps in Digital Tax Transformation through Coretax Assistance

Yogyakarta. March 6, 2026 - Institut Seni Indonesia (ISI) Yogyakarta continues to show its commitment in supporting digital transformation in the public administration sector. Through the Faculty of Performing Arts (FSP), ISI Yogyakarta organized tax reporting assistance activities using the Coretax system for lecturers and education staff in the faculty environment.

The activity which was held at the Public Lecture Building (GKU) FSP ISI Yogyakarta was a form of collaboration with the Bantul Primary Tax Service Office (KPP). The program aims to provide understanding as well as technical assistance to the academic community regarding the use of Coretax, the latest tax administration system developed by the Directorate General of Taxes in the context of modernizing national tax services.

Dozens of lecturers and education personnel participated in this activity enthusiastically. In the mentoring session, participants received an explanation of the changes in the tax reporting system from the previous platform to Coretax which is designed to be more integrated, transparent and efficient.

The representative of the leadership of FSP ISI Yogyakarta in his speech said that this activity was a strategic step to ensure that all academicians were able to adapt to the growing digital tax administration system.

In addition to providing conceptual understanding, the extension team from KPP Pratama Bantul also provided direct assistance to participants in the process of filling and reporting the Annual Tax Return, so that the participants could understand the reporting stages practically and accurately.

Through this activity, lecturers and education personnel are expected to complete the Annual Tax Return reporting before the deadline set on March 31, 2026, while increasing awareness and compliance with tax obligations as part of the contribution of citizens.

This mentoring activity is also part of ISI Yogyakarta's efforts to build a culture of administrative governance that is orderly, transparent, and adaptive to the development of digital technology. The synergy between universities and taxation authorities is expected to continue to be strengthened in order to improve tax literacy in the academic environment.

As a leading arts university in Indonesia, ISI Yogyakarta not only plays a role in the development of arts and culture, but also actively participates in supporting various national transformation agendas, including the modernization of public administration systems through the use of digital technology.
