The delegation of FSP ISI Yogyakarta won the Silver Award at the 7th UKM Asean Art Festival held on November 6 - 10, 2024, at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. The delegation consisted of Dr. Asep Hidayat Wirayuda, M.Ed. (ISI Yogykarta Music Presentation Study Program Lecturer), Natan Teofilus Pramudya Dewabrata (Ethnomusicology Study Program), Nararya Prabu Pandam Mahendra Tama (Ethnomusicology Study Program), Tedha Imam Tri Armanda (Ethnomusicology Study Program), Ali Rizky Ramadhan (Music Presentation Study Program), Jose Martiano Wicaksono Dias (Music Presentation Study Program) and Gabriella Lovely Felicia Hehanussa (Music Presentation Study Program).
The 7th UKM ASEAN Art Festival is an art and cultural event organized by Universitas Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). The festival aims to promote the diversity of art and culture in the ASEAN region through various forms of art performances, such as dance, music, theater, and cultural exhibitions. The festival is in its seventh year and serves as a platform for students from various universities in ASEAN countries to showcase their unique cultures while strengthening ties between countries in the region. Typically, the event involves collaboration between participants to create performing arts that embrace cultural diversity.
ISI Yogyakarta continues to encourage students and lecturers to participate in international events. This effort was made to further increase the popularity of ISI Yogyakarta at the international level so as to build a positive image of ISI Yogyakarta. Hopefully the achievements of the FSP ISI Yogyakarta Delegation can motivate ISI Yogyakarta students and lecturers to continue to excel.
