ISI Yogyakarta students performed in front of the Rectors of Indonesian and Thai State Universities on October 3, 2024, at The 15th CUPT-CRISU Conference 2024, Bangkok, Thailand. Icha Fikri Kurniawan, Wilujeng Dwi Amanda, Dhanurwenda Kintaka Hastra (Dance Study Program Students) performed stunningly by performing a dance entitled Hanoman Duta Dance and Ngruwat Bumi. The stunning performance of the Dance Department students attracted even more attention with the live paiting action performed by Morris Aligsan Piero (Student of the Department of Fine Arts ISI Yogyakarta). ISI Yogyakarta students who performed at The 15th CUPT-CRISU Conference 2024 were accompanied by Dr. Rina Martiara, M.Hum. (Head of the Dance Department) as an accompanying lecturer and Tan Fadilah Ahirul Oktavid (Photography Department Student) who was in charge of documenting the performance of ISI Yogyakarta students.

Hanoman Duta Karya is a dance fragment set against the backdrop of the epic Ramayana episode Anoman Duta. This dance fragment expresses the determination and fighting spirit of Anoman as an ambassador of Prabu Ramawijaya to prove the existence of Dewi Shinta in Alengkadiraja, and also to face the war with Prabu Rahwana in order to save Dewi Sinta to return to the lap of Prabu Ramawijaya in Pancawati Kingdom. In this dance fragment, Anoman transforms himself into Dewi Shinta to find out Rahwana's magic. While the Ngruwat Bumi dance is a contemporary dance performance that reflects the relationship between humans and nature and how humans ideally interact with nature.

At the end of the performance, Morris Aligsan Piero successfully completed two paintings entitled Hanoman Duta and Ngruwat Bumi. The paintings were based on dance movements performed by students of the Dance Department of ISI Yogyakarta.

ISI Yogyakarta continues to strive to provide experience to lecturers and students to experience participating in international events. With this effort, it is expected to further improve the mentality and competence of lecturers or students as well as the reputation of ISI Yogyakarta at the international level.
