The Professional Certification Institute (LSP) ISI Yogyakarta continues to show its consistency in supporting students to obtain competency certificates as proof that the students are competent in their fields of expertise. LSP ISI Yogyakarta which already has 44 lecturers as assessors from 3 faculties, namely FSMR, FSP and FSR as one of the advantages of the institution and it is hoped that LSP ISI Yogyakarta can support graduates who are superior, independent, reliable, trusted, based on Pancasila.
One of the achievements of the institution is to add and develop schemes owned where each new submission of the scheme must be witnessed as the first witnessing of the Competency Test of the proposed new scheme. LSP ISI Yogyakarta conducted a witness on Saturday, July 27, 2024 for the proposed scheme, namely sound stylists, songwriters, music judges, music critics, musicians and composers. The witness process was witnessed by BNSP lead assessors Mrs. Robiatul Adawiyah and Kiki Akiyatul Muniroh.
This witness process is the last process to obtain a technical competency scheme license in order to carry out the certification process. Before the witness process, LSP ISI Yogyakarta had carried out a full assessment, namely checking all the documents that were required to obtain the proposed scheme license on May 11, 2024.
The witness activity lasted for approximately 6 hours starting from the LSP ISI Yogyakarta office located on the 2nd floor of the concert hall building and then continued with a review of the competency test process at TUK which is located at FSP ISI Yogyakarta. Competency test participants are FSP students who have interests and competencies in the proposed scheme.
Present in the witness process was also Assistant Rector 1 Dr., Dewanto Sukistono, S.Sn., M.Sn. as the Governing Board and the Rector also ISI Yogyakarta directly reviewed the process of witnessing the scheme. PR 1 in his remarks said that "certificates of competence are important for the provision of students so that the competencies possessed by students can be officially recognized by the government through BNSP and recognized by related industries so that students can later plunge in their fields can be recognized with diplomas and certificates of competence. Through the Director of LSP ISI Yogyakarta, Pamungkas Wahyu Setiyanto, S.Sn., M.Sn. said "One of the LSP's tasks is to develop a scheme, so the scheme that has been submitted will soon be operated and encourage all fields of art competence at ISI Yogyakarta to submit other competency schemes, so that they can be evenly distributed and can be utilized by students".
