The Rector of ISI Yogyakarta, Dr. Irwandi, M.Sn. opened DKV Fair 2023, on Monday, October 2, 2023 at Sasana Aji Yasa Building, Faculty of Fine Arts ISI Yogyakarta. DKV Fair 2023 is organized by the Visual Communication Design Study Program, Faculty of Fine Arts ISI Yogyakarta.
DKV fair is designed as a collaborative and participatory space between DKV Study Program and Partners. This activity can be said to be a form of "showcase" of DKV products that have been used by partners, both the works of lecturers and students. DKV Study Program has a lot of works that have been used by partners, from local to international scopes. This storefront is expected to open new networks, and answer the needs of partners related to Visual Communication Design science. With the storefront space (read: exhibition), it is hoped that it can connect the academic space with partners, both government agencies and industry. So that what is presented in DKV Fair: Lantas Lintas, can provide a perspective as well as provide inspiration for partners regarding the design of Visual Communication Design works in the future.
In the DKV fair exhibition, DKV Study Program presents works that have been implemented by partners, as well as academic works (course outcomes, outcomes of activities with partners, and outcomes of MBKM programs that have been carried out). Furthermore, in the DKV Fair series, there will also be a number of workshop which partners can participate in for free. Workshop This is expected to be a space for "scientific transfer" both in theory and practice. There are three types of workshop that partners can participate in.
DKV fair will be held until October 6 at sasana ajiyasa building, FSR, ISI Yogyakarta, the exhibition is held on the second floor by presenting printed works as well as audio visual works, visitors can enjoy visual book works, posters, concept art, comics, logos, can also enjoy audio visual works through the monitors that have been provided. Visitors can see works related to MSMEs, Health, Education, Culture and Tourism.
