The Rector of ISI Yogyakarta, Prof. Dr. M. Agus Burhan, M.Hum., opened the Yogyakarta Provincial Student Art Week (Peksimiprov) 2022, at the Concert Hall, ISI Yogyakarta, on Monday, September 5, 2022. Peksimiprov DIY 2022 will be held from the 5th to the 9th in various campuses in Yogyakarta. The opening of Peksimiprov DIY 2022, was attended by the Head of ISI Yogyakarta and Faculty Leaders within ISI Yogyakarta as well as representatives of university leaders from members of the Indonesian Student Art Advisory Board (BPMSI) Special Region of Yogyakarta.
Peksimiprov DIY 2022 is a collaboration between ISI Yogyakarta and the Indonesian Student Art Advisory Board (BPMSI) of Yogyakarta Special Region. This event was held to provide a forum for students to improve their quality and practical abilities. In particular, in the fields of art both sound art, performance, fine arts, and also literature. This forum will motivate students to continue to improve their competence in the fields of art and literature.
Monologue, group dance, keroncong and seriosa competitions will be held at ISI Yogyakarta. The dangdut singing competition will be held at Universitas Sarjana Wiyata Taman Siswa, vocal group and pop singing competition will be held at Yogyakarta State University, poster design will be held at Atamajaya University Yogyakarta, painting competition will be held at Duta Wacana Christian University, Comics and Photography will be held at Gadjah Mada University. Meanwhile, poetry reading, short story writing, play and poetry writing competitions will be held at Ahmad Dahlan University.
The closing and announcement of the winner of Peksimiprov DIY 2022 will be held at ISI Yogyakarta on September 9, 2022, at 19.00 WIB until it is completed at the Concert Hall, ISI Yogyakarta.
