ISI Yogyakarta introduced campus life to new students for the 2022/2023 academic year through the 2022 Introduction to Campus Life Program for New Students (PPKMB). This campus introduction was held for two days on August 25 to 26, 2022. PPKMB 2022 was opened and opened by the Rector of ISI Yogyakarta, Prof. Dr. M. Agus Burhan, M.Hum. and attended by 1264 new ISI Yogyakarta students. The opening of PKKMB 2022 was attended by the Heads of the Institute, Faculties and Study Programs within ISI Yogyakarta.
The campus introduction on the first day on August 25, 2022 was held at the institute level and the introduction on the second day was held at the faculty level. Campus introduction at the institute level is centered at the ISI Yogyakarta Art Laboratory and its environment. While the campus introduction at the faculty level is carried out in the Faculty of Fine Arts, Faculty of Performing Arts and Faculty of Recording Media Arts ISI Yogyakarta.
On the first day of campus introduction, students were introduced to the profile of the leadership of Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta such as the Rector, Assistant Rector I, Assistant Rector III and Assistant Rector III. On this first day of campus introduction, students are also introduced to various campus facilities such as the ISI Yogyakarta Library and the ISI Yogyakarta Career and Entrepreneurship Development Center (PPKK).
The Rector of ISI Yogyakarta in his remarks advised new students not to become "butterfly" students or students whose main activity is studying and then going home. Furthermore, he said that students must be able to utilize the facilities and student activity units at ISI Yogyakarta to improve their soft skills. These soft skills and hard skills obtained in college will increase the selling point of students in the world of work.
