The Rector of ISI Yogyakarta, Prof. Dr. M. Agus Burhan, M. Hum. released students who received the 2022 Indonesia International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA) awardees, on Monday, July 18, 2022 in the VIP Room of the Rectorate of ISI Yogyakarta. During this release ceremony, the Rector of ISI Yogyakarta was also accompanied by Dr. St. Hanggar Budi Prasetya, S.Sn., M.Si. (Assistant Rector I ISI Yogyakarta), Bambang Supinardi, S.IP. (Education and Cooperation Coordinator) and Heri Abi Burachman Hakim, SIP, MIP. (Junior Expert Public Relations Officer of ISI Yogyakarta). Meanwhile, ISI Yogyakarta students who passed the IISMA 2022 program were represented by Rahmanita Fairuz (Interior Design Study Program) and Gitanjali Mayra Ekarini (Visual Communication Design Study Program).
In 2022, ISI Yogyakarta students who successfully obtained IISMA 2022 awardees consisted of eight students. This number increased from the previous year which only amounted to three students. The following are the names of students who successfully passed IISMA 2022:
- Xantia Mitochondria Askandar, Department of Television & Film, FSMRISI Yogyakarta will study at Arizona State University, USA.
- Rahmanita Fairuz, Interior Design Study Program, FSR ISI Yogyakarta will study at Universiti Sains Malaysia, Malaysia.
- Muhammad Azra Firmansyah, Product Design Study Program, FSR ISI Yogyakarta will study at The Australian National University, Australia.
- Rania Sekar Paramitha Hermanto, Visual Communication Design Study Program, FSR ISI Yogyakarta will study at University College Dublin, Ireland.
- Gitanjali Mayra Ekarini, Visual Communication Design Study Program, FSR ISI Yogyakarta will study at Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Spain.
- Alika Kintany, Visual Communication Design Study Program, FSR ISI Yogyakarta will study Michigan State University, USA
- Aisyah Yasmirafitri Priandi, Department of Fine Arts, FSR ISI Yogyakarta will study at Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Spain.
- Maula Waytisi Kirana, Music major, FSP ISI Yogyakarta to study at Universiti Malaya, Malaysia
On this occasion the Rector of ISI Yogyakarta, Prof. Dr. M. Agus Burhan, M.Hum., congratulated students who succeeded in obtaining IISMA 2022 awardees and advised students to optimize learning opportunities at international universities. By participating in the IISMA 2022 program, it will improve academic achievement and hone students' soft skills, he further said. After remarks delivered by the Rector of ISI Yogyakarta, the event continued with remarks from the Vice Rector I, in his remarks he conveyed the need for ISI Yogyakarta students to maintain the good name of ISI Yogyakarta and Indonesia. The event ended with the presentation of souvenirs by the Rector of ISI Yogyakarta to students. The souvenirs will later be given to the colleges where students take part in the IISMA 2022 program.
