Students of the Performing Arts Education Study Program, Faculty of Performing Arts ISI Yogyakarta won 2nd place in the Gentara #6 Creation Dance Competition for the group category. This creative dance competition was organized by Satya Khatulistiwa Dance UKM, Yogyakarta Leather Technology Polytechnic from 14 to 10 November 2021. Information on the winner of this creative dance competition was published through the Satya Khatulistiwa Dance UKM Instagram account @satyakhatulistiwa.
The dance contested is a new creation dance and has never been included in a similar competition. By organizing this competition, it will hone students' creative power and provide an arena for dance competition in the midst of a pandemic. Students are expected to continue to be creative in the field of dance even during the pandemic.
Students of the Performing Arts Study Program ISI Yogyakarta who are members of the Wiryatama Performing Art group brought Sorote Lintang Dance in this creative dance competition. The Wiryatama Performing Art group that won 2nd place in this creation dance competition consisted of dancers Resti Mei Yanti, Ella Cahayu Mustika, Silvia Nila Adinda, Margareta Yohana Silvi and Putri Indah Siswanti. The dance group was also supported by S Tristiandika Saputra as a fashion stylist, Moch Rizki Dermawan as a hair stylist, Tri Sahri Ramadha and I Made Aditya as Crew and Iqbal Assegaf as Editor.
