Law No. 5/2014 on the State Civil Apparatus, specifically in article 51 mandates that the management of the State Civil Apparatus is based on a merit system, which is based on qualifications, competencies, and performance. The implementation of the merit system must be based on valid and objective data, among others obtained through the employee assessment process. Through employee assessment, among others, data on employee competency predictions can be obtained, which can then become one of the materials in HR management, including employee development, preparation of agency talent management, mutation/rotation, or promotion. The employee assessment process has been carried out routinely by the Human Resources Bureau of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology for all employees who meet the criteria. In 2021, employee assessments will be carried out again, especially in the Technical Implementation Units in the regions, State Universities, Higher Education Service Institutions, and transfer employees from the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education to the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology in the central main unit. The assessment that will be held is an employee competency prediction assessment.
Following up on this, the staff of ISI Yogyakarta held a socialization activity for the preparation of assessments for educational staff which was held on Friday, June 25, 2021 via zoom meeting which was attended by all ISI Yogyakarta education personnel. The speaker in this activity was ISI Yogyakarta's Associate Expert Personnel Analyst (Mrs. Venevrida Nur Setyawati, S.H.).
After the socialization of this assessment preparation, it is hoped that all education personnel at ISI Yogyakarta will know and understand and prepare themselves both physically and mentally for the success of the assessment test and get satisfactory results that are beneficial for themselves or to advance the ISI Yogyakarta institution.
