The Bantul Regency Government and Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta signed an MoU on Thursday, November 12, 2020, at the Bantul Regent's Office. The signing of the MoU which contains "Improving and Developing the Potential of Bantul Regency Regional Resources through Cooperation in the Tri Dharma of Higher Education" was carried out by Mr. Budi Wibowo, SH, MM. as Pjs. Regent of Bantul and the Rector of Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta, Prof. Dr. M. Agus Burhan, M.Hum.
With the signing of the MoU, it is expected to increase the synergy between the Bantul Regency Government and ISI Yogyakarta so as to provide benefits for both institutions. The signing of this MoU is a renewal of the previous MoU so that it can become an umbrella for cooperation activities that will be carried out by both institutions in the future.
Along with the signing of the MoU, a Cooperation Agreement was also signed between Bantul Tourism Office and Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta. This cooperation agreement was signed by Kwintarto Heru Prabowo, S.Sos as Head of Bantul Tourism Office and Dr. Hanggar Budi Prasetya, S.Sn., M.Si. as Assistant Rector I, Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta. Through this Cooperation Agreement, it is expected to be able to utilize the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education for the development of tourism resources in Bantul.
