Rector's Circular Letter Regarding Waivers of UKT Payment for the 2020/2021 Odd Semester for Students Affected by COVID-19

ABOUT

WAIVER OF PAYMENT OF UKT ODD SEMESTER 2020/2021

FOR STUDENTS AFFECTED BY THE COVID PANDEMIC - 19

The Covid-19 pandemic has an impact on various aspects of life, including the economic sector. This prompted ISI Yogyakarta to issue a Circular Letter for UKT Payment Relief for the 2020/2021 Academic Semester for students who were really affected through a temporary exemption scheme, reduction, cluster shift, installments, and payment delays.

The normative basis for providing UKT payment relief is as follows.

  1. Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education Regulation No. 39/2017 on Single Tuition Fee and Single Tuition Fee at State Universities within the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education Article 5.
  2. Decision of the MRPTNI (Assembly of Rectors of Indonesian State Universities) Meeting dated May 5, 2020 concerning UKT Payment Waivers for Students affected by the Covid-19 Pandemic.
  3. Director General of Higher Education's response dated June 9, 2020 on Single Tuition Fees (UKT) during the Covid-19 Pandemic.

Based on these norms, students who are really affected by the covid-19 pandemic can apply for UKT payment relief. The application for relief is made by the parents/guardians of students making an Application Letter for UKT Relief with a stamp of Rp 6,000.00 with the following conditions.

  1. The application letter is addressed to the Rector no later than August 14, 2020.
  2. The application letter is attached:

a.1 Parents/guardians who work in private institutions must submit proof of decreased turnover from the head of the institution where they work,

a.2 Proof of income of parents/guardians before and after the covid-19 pandemic from the institution, or

a.3 Proof of Termination of Employment for those working in private institutions.

b. For parents/guardians of students who work or have a business/self-employment from the informal sector that has receded make a statement authorized by the Village Head/Lurah; and

c. Copy/scan of Family Card.

3. Application letter and supporting documents are uploaded through https://archive.isi.ac.id/uktpandemi

4. The submission letter will be verified by the Verifier Team.

5. Verification results will be announced before the UKT payment period on the website https://archive.isi.ac.id
