A. Background
In the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, this seminar was planned. In addition to the pandemic problem, in the last two decades many problems have occurred in Indonesia. A long history has been inscribed, from problems related to humanity, culture, religion, nature, to primordialism and race. It seems that these problems will never end. Will art (in a larger context, culture) be able to play a role in overcoming these problems? This "rhetorical" question leads to a set of key phrases that might be strung together.
For this reason, it is necessary to think about internal and external policies from the upstream level: art universities. The seminar, which was originally held on the ISI Yogyakarta campus, was finally only possible through the publication of seminar proceedings. Through this seminar, it is hoped that art campuses such as ISI Yogyakarta can help this nation maintain character through art.
B. Theme
Creativity and Nationality. Exploring the various attitudes, opinions, and visions of every child of the nation in the future, by looking at the various conditions of the nation today, towards 100 years of Indonesia's independence, especially in the field of arts and culture.
