About Us
The S1 Pedalangan Art Study Program is part of the Faculty of Performing Arts that studies about the Art of Puppetry.
Graduate Prospects
The Pedalangan Study Program aims to produce Pedalangan Art graduates who are experts in the field of Pedalangan Art and master science (intellectual artists).
Competency in Puppetry Studies
- Understand basic scientific concepts in the field of puppetry
- Mastering basic scientific concepts in the field of puppetry and opening up knowledge insights in the field of puppetry
- Able to apply basic scientific concepts independently in the form of scientific papers. The study of the art of puppetry can contribute to the development of the science of puppetry.
Competency in Puppetry Art Creation
- Understand the basic concepts of traditional pakeliran
- Mastering the knowledge and skills of Puppetry Art and being able to appreciate the basic values of art to achieve professionalism in the field of puppetry.
- Able to create art in the form of traditional puppet shows and those that are in accordance with the demands of the times
