Yogyakarta, the Indonesian Institute of the Arts (ISI) Yogyakarta will hold a National Trial for UTBK-SNBT 2026 on Thursday, April 2, 2026, as part of the national implementation agenda for the Computer-Based Writing Test–National Selection Based on Test. This activity refers to the notification letter for the implementation of the 2026 National UTBK-SNBT Trial, Number 1203/UN6.RKT/TU.00/2026 dated March 26, 2026, signed by the Rector of Padjadjaran University as the Coordinator of UTBK Implementation, and addressed to the rectors responsible for the PTN UTBK Centers throughout Indonesia, including the Rector of ISI Yogyakarta. This trial is intended as a guideline for implementation so that each UTBK center can optimally prepare all technical aspects.
The preparation series is comprehensive and structured. The stages carried out include scheduling server administrators by the board through the UTBK Dashboard, downloading the latest exam server ISO and UTBK-OS, installing the exam server according to the hostname, configuring the server based on test center needs, local network assessment, creating bootable flash drives, checking the readiness of exam PCs and proctor PCs, verifying the suitability of participant-room data and the exam server, to packaging and downloading exam packages per wave. This work pattern shows that the trial implementation is not merely a routine simulation, but a comprehensive audit of the readiness of the digital system, devices, network, and operational governance.
At ISI Yogyakarta, the readiness for the trial implementation is supported by a wide distribution of exam rooms and supervisors, as well as the involvement of many academic units. The supervisor room allocation document shows the implementation spread across seven main points: the Product Design Study Program of FSRD, the RJ Katamsi Gallery Building, the Library Building, the Puppetry Study Program of FSP, the Old Rectorate Building, the Dean's Office of the Faculty of New Media Arts, and the Animation Study Program of FSMR. The rooms used include computer labs and language labs, such as Computer Lab DP 3A on the 3rd Floor, Computer Lab 6C on the 3rd Floor, North Language Lab, South Language Lab, Library Computer Lab on the 3rd and 4th Floors, Puppetry Computer Lab on the 2nd Floor, PUSKOM Computer Lab on the 3rd Floor, North and South FSMR Computer Labs, 3rd Floor FSMR Computer Lab, up to the 2nd Floor Computer Lab in the Animation Study Program.
The involvement of supervisors also shows cross-faculty and cross-office synergy at ISI Yogyakarta. The involvement of these cross elements shows that the implementation of the national trial at ISI Yogyakarta does not only rely on the readiness of the equipment, but also on the coordination of solid and organized academic human resources. Furthermore, the implementation of the UTBK-SNBT 2026 national trial at ISI Yogyakarta confirms the capacity of this institution as an art college that not only excels in academics and creativity, but is also reliable in organizing technology-based public services. Infrastructure readiness, procedural accuracy, and collaboration between units are important indicators that ISI Yogyakarta is able to present a professional, responsive, and reliable UTBK center governance. In a broader context, active participation and technical readiness like this strengthen ISI Yogyakarta's position as a national art college that is ready to contribute to the Indonesian higher education selection ecosystem with quality and integrity.
