The art world is now in dialog with algorithms, data, virtual reality, and the global digital ecosystem,” said Rector.

The Rector also emphasized that ISI Yogyakarta graduates are expected not only to become creative workers, but to be able to appear as creative leaders who play a role in building the creative industry ecosystem. With the capital of aesthetic sensitivity, conceptual ability, artistic research experience, and interdisciplinary collaboration networks, graduates are expected to be able to bring Indonesian art to be increasingly recognized at the global level.
ISI Yogyakarta itself continues to strengthen various strategic programs, including practice-based research, collaboration with the creative industry, incubation of works, and international partnerships to support the development of creative talents that are adaptive to technological developments.
In addition to academic and artistic competence, ISI Yogyakarta also instills soft skills and entrepreneurial spirit to students through various career development and entrepreneurship programs.
Through programs such as the Student Entrepreneurship Program (PMW) and various self-development workshops, students are encouraged to not only become job seekers, but also job creators who are able to create business opportunities in the creative industry sector.
With the support of an extensive network of partnerships with creative industries and communities, ISI Yogyakarta graduates are expected to contribute to strengthening the national creative economy.

Closing his speech, the Rector advised the graduates that the academic degree achieved is not the final line of the journey, but the beginning of a broader service to society.
“The degree you hold today is not the end of your journey, but the beginning of your service. Wherever you work, carry the good name of the alma mater, maintain integrity, and continue to learn to face the changing times,” he advised the graduates.
With this graduation, ISI Yogyakarta again gave birth to a new creative generation that is expected to be able to present artistic innovations while strengthening the position of Indonesian art in an ever-evolving global landscape.
