ISI Yogyakarta, November 19, 2025 - The Indonesian Higher Education Summit (KPPTI) 2025 was officially opened on Wednesday (19/11) at the Surabaya State University (Unesa) Campus. The national forum which runs until 21 November 2025 is organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology in collaboration with the Indonesian State University Rectors Assembly (MRPTNI) and the Indonesian Rectors Forum (FRI).
Theme. "Campus Impact: Consolidating and Strengthening the Higher Education Ecosystem Towards a Golden Indonesia 2045", KPPTI 2025 gathered more than a thousand participants consisting of leaders of PTN, PTS, PTKL, overseas universities, industry, academia, and international partners.
In this year's event, the Rector of ISI Yogyakarta, Dr. Irwandi, M.Sn., became one of the speakers in the governance and leadership parallel session, along with the Rector of the University of Indonesia (UI) and the Rector of Gorontalo State University (UNG). On this occasion, Dr. Irwandi presented material on the transformation of state university management and ISI Yogyakarta's strategic steps towards the status of a Public Service Agency (BLU).
“The transformation of higher education governance cannot be separated from the need to build an adaptive, transparent, and impactful ecosystem. ISI Yogyakarta is preparing a strong management foundation to support the improvement of academic performance, research, and innovation services based on arts and culture,” said Dr. Irwandi in his presentation.



ISI Yogyakarta's participation in this forum emphasizes the position of the campus as an art institution that actively takes part in national discourse related to higher education governance. The material presented by the Rector of ISI Yogyakarta became one of the highlights in the session themed on the transformation of PTNBH, PTN BLU, and PTN Satker.
KPPTI 2025 presents a series of activities such as plenary sessions, parallel discussions, higher education expo, university impact talk, networking forum, impact campus festival, and Indonesian diaspora forum. This forum is expected to be a space for consolidation and collaboration to strengthen the higher education ecosystem in facing global challenges towards the Golden Indonesia 2045. Through active participation in this conference, ISI Yogyakarta also emphasizes its commitment as an art campus that is nationally and internationally competitive, and plays a role in strengthening adaptive and impactful higher education governance.
