Haji Widayat Museum hosts another art exhibition Initial Steps #2The exhibition will take place from August 9 to September 7, 2025. The exhibition presents works by students of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, Institut Seni Indonesia (ISI) Yogyakarta from the Interior Design, Media Design, Product Design, and Visual Communication Design Study Programs.
More than just an exhibition, Initial Steps #2 became a tangible manifestation of ISI Yogyakarta's role as campus impactThis is a program that not only develops students' talents but also brings direct benefits to the community. Through collaboration with Museum Haji Widayat, student works are presented as a means of education, appreciation, and inspiration for visitors, while reviving the art ecosystem in the region. This exhibition is an opportunity for students to test their ideas and skills in a public space, while building creative interactions with the community.
The exhibition is open every day at 09.00-16.00 WIB with free admission, except for the museum entrance fee. Public presence is expected to provide support and constructive input for Indonesia's creative young generation.
With this meaningful first step, ISI Yogyakarta continues to demonstrate its commitment to produce graduates who are able to make a positive contribution to art, culture and the life of the wider community.
