Product Design Study Program student, Faculty of Art and Design, ISI Yogyakarta, Wahyu Dwi Ramadhan won the JIFFINA Youth Design Competition 2025. With a work entitled Gnder Cabinet, ISI Yogyakarta Design Study Program students managed to get the highest score of 1,018 and won 1st place in the prestigious competition for young designers. Gender as one of the Javanese traditional musical instruments, became a source of inspiration for Wahyu Dwi Ramadhan to create a cabinet.
JIFFINA Youth Furniture Design Competition 2025 is a prestigious furniture design competition organized as part of Jogja International Furniture & Craft Fair Indonesia (JIFFINA) 2025. The competition aims to encourage the creativity and innovation of young designers in Indonesia's furniture industry. The competition provides an opportunity for young designers to showcase their work at the national level and gain recognition in the furniture industry.
Wahyu Dwi Ramadhan succeeded in beating 81 other designers. With the selection of Wahyu Dwi Ramadhan as the first winner, he is entitled to a prize of Rp. 12,000,000. This competition is expected to motivate the younger generation to continue to innovate and contribute to the development of Indonesian furniture design.
