ISI Yogyakarta launched the Open Class Program to the public on Monday 3 March 2025. Open Class Program is an on-line learning portal that provides opportunities for ISI Yogyakarta students, students of other universities, students or the general public to learn arts and culture. The portal with the address www.openclass.isi.ac.id provides online classes containing learning videos in the fields of art and culture. Through these videos the public will gain knowledge and insight in the fields of art and culture.
Open Class was built in order to provide opportunities for the public to experience the climate of learning arts and culture at ISI Yogyakarta, said Dr. Irwandi, M.Sn. as Rector. He further said that students of other universities, students and even the general public who have the motivation to learn arts and culture can take advantage of this portal. This portal provides equal opportunities for the public to learn arts and culture at ISI Yogyakarta, as well as a form of inclusiveness of ISI Yogyakarta.
To be able to utilize this learning portal, the community only needs to register and is free of charge. The community is only required to have an electronic mail to register on the Open Class portal developed by ISI Yogyakarta.
The registration procedure begins by pressing the registration button on the front page of the Open Class portal. Then fill in the personal data on the available page and when finished press the register now button. If you have registered, please check your email for activation. After activation, the community can join the available classes and access the learning videos. In the future, the number and variety of classes will always be increased, in order to provide a more complete picture of the art field to the community.
