ISI Yogyakarta in collaboration with the U.S. Embassy Jakarta organized an orchestra concert entitled "Melodies of Friendship" on December 10, 2024, at the Concert Hall, at 18.30 WIB until completion. This orchestra concert will feature the Student Orchestra of the D4 Music Presentation Study Program and Empire World from the United States. The collaboration of students and Empire World will perform classical songs and Indonesian songs.
Empirel World is an American cello duo consisting of Ken Kubota and Mitch Lyon. The two cellists will combine pop, folk, jazz and classical music in their innovative compositions. The presence of the cello duo with the Student Orchestra of the D4 Music Presentation Study Program by presenting classical music and Indonesian songs certainly promises to be an interesting spectacle.
Before the concert, Ken Kubota and Mitch Lyon also organized a master class that will be attended by ISI Yogyakarta students. The collaborative orchestra concert titled "Melodies of Friendship" is open to the general public and free of charge. Welcome to watch.
