ISI Yogyakarta Organizes Workshop on Integrative Learning Models

ISI Yogyakarta held a Workshop on Integrative Learning Models on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at the Grand Zuri Malioboro Hotel, at 08.00 until completion. This workshop was attended by ISI Yogyakarta lecturers and presented speakers from the University of Indonesia Dr. Dipl. Psych.Ratna Djuwita and Dr. Lucia RM Royanto, M.Si, M.Sp.Ed.. This workshop was held as an effort to provide competence on how to organize integrative learning at ISI Yogyakarta.

The integrative learning model or popularly known as the integrated learning model has an understanding as an approach or instructional model that helps students develop in-depth understanding systematically and simultaneously teaches students' critical thinking skills. This learning model is an approach that is carried out by correlating or combining various existing concepts so as to create meaningful learning for students. This method needs to be applied because the implementation of international classes involves partners from universities from abroad and partner institutions that will integrate several aspects in one course.

ISI Yogyakarta hopes to soon be able to organize international classes and short courses-non degree for foreign students. With efforts to provide opportunities for students to participate in international activities such as short courses, student exchanges, or internships for one or two semesters. With the newly organized workshop, hopefully it will facilitate ISI Yogyakarta's steps towards a world class university.
