Education is the basis of glory that must be able to foster strength in knowing (knowledge), creating (skills) and doing (character). Education today is still at the level of learning practices that are still struggling at the lowest level of "memorization" (remembering) and still far from the highest level of "creating" (creating).
The condition of education that still relies on the level of memorization is criticized and reflected by the Music Creation Study Program of the Faculty of Performing Arts, Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta in the form of an Orchestra Concert. The foundation of this orchestra concert performance is a form of anxiety from the Music Creation lecturers in criticizing the situation and conditions of the world of education and in general. The critical and reflective form of the situation is realized in the form of nine works of Music Creation lecturers in the orchestra format.
In line with the basic idea of the concert performance, Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta, which in 2023 is celebrating its 39th anniversary, also emphasizes productivity and creativity in working in the world of art and science. The emphasis on productivity and creativity in the world of art and science is related to the theme of the 39th Anniversary of Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta in 2023 which is "Towards Golden Indonesia: Acceleration of Creative and Innovative Human Resources.
Acceleration of creative and innovative human resources and in accordance with the theme of the anniversary of ISI Yogyakarta further strengthened the determination of the Music Creation Study Program to hold an Anniversary Concert with the theme: "The Spirits of 9 Compossers."Concert"The Spirits of 9 Compossers" consists of works by Music Creation lecturer composers with the title:

The works are presented in orchestral format and will be performed on Friday, August 11, 2023 at the Concert Hall ISI Yogyakarta. In the world of music, the orchestra format is one format that requires togetherness, both the togetherness of the sound and the musicians themselves.
Therefore, it is interesting to attend and watch the Dies Concert entitled The Spirits of 9 Compossers which reflects the current situation and conditions and requires high technique and complexity.
