ISI Yogyakarta Dies Natalis Concert "The Spirits of 9 Composers"

The Music Creation Study Program, Faculty of Performing Arts (FSP), ISI Yogyakarta will hold an orchestra concert with the theme "The Spirits of 9 Compossers". This concert will be held on Friday, August 11, 2023, at the Concert Hall ISI Yogyakarta, at 19.00 WIB - finished. This concert was held as a series of commemorations of the 39th Anniversary "Towards Golden Indonesia: Acceleration of Creative and Innovative Human Resources". The theme is a reflection of the focus of the ISI Yogyakarta academic community regarding the need to emphasize productivity and creativity in working in the world of art and science.

The acceleration of creative and innovative human resources and in accordance with the theme of ISI Yogyakarta's anniversary further strengthened the determination of the Music Creation Study Program to hold a Dies Concert with the theme: "The Spirits of 9 Compossers." "The Spirits of 9 Compossers" concert will feature the works of Music Creation lecturer composers with the titles:

  1. G.N Wiryawan Budhiana: Pentatonic Fragments
  2. Ovan Bagus: Suita for Orchestra
  3. Joko Suprayitno: Dance For Drunker
  4. Royke B. Koapaha: Impromptu for Guitar and Orchestra Bag.1
  5. Puput Pramuditya: Sanctuary
  6. Adi Wijaya: Blizz From The Theme of Suite Modale
  7. Kristiyanto Christinus: Bantul Earthquake
  8. Hadi Susanto: Beach and Boulders (An Ocean Nuance)
  9. Haris Nathanael: Shades of a Mirage

The works are presented in an orchestral format played by students of the Music Creation Study Program, FSP ISI Yogyakarta. In the world of music, the orchestra format is one of the formats that requires togetherness, both togetherness of sound and the musicians themselves.
