ISI Yogyakarta will hold a Professor release and book launch of Prof. Dr. A.M. Hermin Kusmayanti, S.S.T., S.U. on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at 09.00 WIB until completion, at the Concert Hall ISI Yogyakarta. At this release event, the book launched was entitled "Dancing with Saraswati: Prof. Dr. A.M. Hermin Kusmayanti, S.S.T., S.U." edited by Dr. Rina Martiara, M.Hum. The release of professors is a routine agenda that is held when a professor has entered his retirement period, but before entering his retirement period, God loved him more by calling him to return to His presence in 2020.
The book entitled "Dancing with Saraswati: Prof. Dr. A.M. Hermin Kusmayanti, S.S.T., S.U." is a potpourri of writings from teaching staff at Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta, colleagues, friends, and the children of Prof. Hermien, collected, edited, and presented to the public, especially the audience of art scientists, especially dance in Indonesia. It has become a tradition in every university to honor professors at the time of their retirement and ISI Yogyakarta continues to strive to preserve this tradition.
At the time of the professor's release, several dance performances will be performed including Tyas Muncar Dance by the academics of the Yogyakarta State Community Academy of Culture, Beksan Bandabaya by Pura Pakualaman and Bedhayan Kusumaningtyas by the Indonesian Institute of Arts Yogyakarta.
