The International Affairs Unit of ISI Yogyakarta held an online event with the theme "Ngopi Bareng" with 3 Awardee alumni of IISMA (Indonesia International Student Mobility Award) 2022 on January 17, 2023 at 16.00 WIB. In this Ngopi Bareng event, three IISMA 2022 Awardees from ISI Yogyakarta were presented. The three Awardees include Alika Kintany from the DKV Study Program who attended a one-semester lecture at Michigan State University, USA), Muh. Azra Firmansyah from the Product Design Study Program who studied for one semester at The Australian National University, Australia, and Rania S.P. Hermanto from the DKV Study Program who attended the program at University College Dublin, Ireland). The Awardees will thoroughly discuss the strategies taken to pass the IISMA 2022 selection, lecture activities at internationally reputable campuses and other activities in neighboring countries.
IISMA is a scholarship scheme that is managed centrally by the Directorate General of Education Higher Education, Research and Technology (Ditjen Diktiristek), Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology to provide a one-semester learning experience at international campuses abroad. This scholarship scheme is one part of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka Program. This program will provide experience to Indonesian students to experience the learning climate and culture abroad.
In 2022 there were 8 ISI Yogyakarta students who successfully obtained IISMA Awardees. Through organizing this event, the International Affairs Unit of ISI Yogyakarta hopes to share inspiration and encourage ISI Yogyakarta students to join IISMA 2023.
