Students of the Karawitan Department Batch 2021, Faculty of Performing Arts ISI Yogyakarta held a performance of "Selaras" on October 15, 2022, at the Kyai Panjangmas Hall, Karawitan Department, ISI Yogyakarta. The performance of "Selaras" will begin at 7:00 pm. This performance is organized as a means to show the results of the learning process as a karawitan student to the public.
Selaras is an HMJ Karawitan performance event from Karawitan major students class of 2021 with the theme "Unity". "Basically, unity is something that must be maintained in a group of individuals who have various kinds of differences, including ethnicity, culture, thoughts, and the nature of each individual.". This musical performance tries to describe how to manage differences so that they can get a positive impact from these differences.
The performance is open to the general public and is free of charge. People who are interested in watching the karawitan performance can visit the Kyai Panjangmas Hall of the Karawitan Department of ISI Yogyakarta while still observing health protocols.
