At Taman Budaya Gunungkidul November 20 -23, 2021
Gelar Potensi Rintisan Kelurahan Budaya is one of the activities carried out as a benchmark effort to determine the potential of the village and is used as an evaluation of the development of the Cultural Pioneer Village. Gelar Potensi Rintisan Kalurahan Budaya in 2021 was attended by 22 Kalurahan Rintisan Budaya in Gunungkidul Regency. The potential that must be owned by the Cultural Village is:
- Customs and Traditions
- Traditional Arts and Games
- Language, Literature and Script
- Crafts, Culinary and Traditional Medicine
- Traditional Layout and Architecture
Kalurahan Rintisan Budaya must present and package these five elements in Gelar Potensi Kalurahan Budaya.
The aims and objectives of this program are to explore local potential, strengthen local wisdom values, pass on local wisdom values to the community, especially the younger generation. Increase public appreciation of local potential, provide space for expression for cultural arts actors, improve the ability and management of cultural arts management. Out of 22 cultural centers, the best 5 were chosen, which was quite a competition.
Dra. Daruni, M. Hum, a lecturer in the Dance Department of FSP ISI Yogyakarta, has been helping the DIY Cultural Office for seven years as a judge of Gelar Potensi, both the pilot and the one that has become a Cultural Village, as well as Drs, Gandung Djatmiko, M.Pd, a lecturer in the PSP study program, they both not only became judges in Gelar Potensi, but also became judges of the Traditional Ceremony Festival organized by the DIY Cultural Office. In fact, they also assisted in the selection of prospective companions and also became the accreditation team for the Cultural Center. Both lecturers are also often trusted to be judges and speakers at various events at the Kulonprogo Cultural Office, Gunungkidul Cultural Office and Bantul Cultural Office,
Lecturers in a university should contribute to helping institutions in need, so that good cooperation occurs, because in fact the lecturers also need space for the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, especially the element of community service. Everyone realizes the importance of networking in establishing cooperation, for the advancement of art and culture, preservation and cultural inheritance. All of this is also the responsibility of Art Universities such as ISI Yogyakarta.
