The leadership of ISI Yogyakarta, represented by the Assistant Chancellor I and Assistant Chancellor III, received students from various universities who participated in the Merdeka Learning Program at ISI Yogyakarta on Monday, November 8, 2021. Students who take part in the Merdeka Learning Program at ISI Yogyakarta choose the type of student exchange program. The previous student exchange program was carried out online and now it will be continued offline by studying at ISI Yogykarta.
There were 20 students who participated in the Merdeka Learning Campus Program at ISI Yogyakarta, but in this ceremonial activity only 16 students participated because there were several students who had not yet arrived in Yogyakarta. Students who take part in the Merdeka Learning Program at ISI Yogyakarta are dominated by students from universities in Eastern Indonesia such as Hasanuddin University, Makassar Islamic University, Nusa Cendana University, Gorontalo University, Makassar State University, Tanjungpura University, Muhammadiyah Sindenreng University, IKIP PGRI Pontianak and Lambung Mangkurat University. The learning process at ISI Yogyakarta will certainly provide new cultural and artistic experiences for students.
Ceremonial acceptance of students of the Merdeka Learning Program at Merdeka Campus. It began with a welcome speech from the Assistant Rector I of ISI Yogyakarta. The event continued with remarks from the Assistant Chancellor III of ISI Yogyakarta, remarks from representatives of students participating in the Merdeka Learning Program, introductions of supervisors and the event closed with a photo session in the ISI Yogyakarta environment. Hopefully by participating in this program students will gain more new experiences, have the ability to work together and be able to adapt to a new environment.
