4,674 Participants Take UTBK 2021 at ISI Yogyakarta by Implementing Health Protocols

On Monday morning, April 12, 2021, LTMPT (Higher Education Entrance Test Institute) started the implementation of UTBK (Computer-Based Written Test) simultaneously nationwide throughout Indonesia. ISI Yogyakarta as one of the state art universities is trusted to be one of the organizers.

The Rector of ISI Yogyakarta Prof. Dr. M. Agus Burhan, M.Hum hit the gong as a sign of the start of UTBK implementation at ISI Yogyakarta at 07.15 WIB at the ISI Yogyakarta Rectorate Building. The opening was attended by all levels of ISI Yogyakarta leadership including the Vice Rector I as well as the Chairperson of the ISI Yogyakarta UTBK Center, Vice Rector II, Vice Rector III, Deans of the three faculties, Head of Bureau, Head of UPT, and a number of committees.

A total of 4,674 participants took part in UTBK 2021 at the Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta Campus with details of 3,916 participants from DIY while 758 participants from outside DIY. The entire UTBK implementation process applies strict health standards and protocols. The implementation of UTBK 2021 is spread across 6 buildings throughout ISI Yogyakarta which in total utilizes 11 computer labs.

The implementation of UTBK at ISI Yogyakarta is designed so as not to cause crowds, maintain distance, wash hands before entering the room and use masks. In order to maintain health protocols, all participants will be divided into 24 sessions so that each session is attended by at least 205 people divided into 11 computer labs. Each computer lab has also been arranged to only be used

as much as 50 percent of its capacity.

In addition to undergoing a body temperature check when entering the UTBK room, participants are also required to show a certificate of non-reactive / negative Covid-19 through a rapid antigen test / genose test which is valid for 3 x 24 hours. All of this is done under the supervision of the committee who has coordinated with the Bantul Regency Covid-19 Task Force.

UTBK 2021 at ISI Yogyakarta, consists of two stages, namely stage one from April 12-18 and stage two from April 26-30, 2021. Participants can choose test materials for the Saintek, Soshum categories or can choose test materials for the Mixed category.

Especially for the first day will be held for the Mixed category test which consists of the Scholastic Potential Test, Science and Technology Academic Potential Test and continued with the Soshum Academic Potential Test. The first day of UTBK implementation will start at 07.15 WIB and end at 12.00 WIB.

The next day will be used for the Saintek and Soshum category tests simultaneously in two sessions, namely the morning session and the afternoon session. The morning session will start exactly at 07.15 WIB until 10.30 WIB. While the afternoon session will start at 13.20 WIB and end at 16.35 WIB.

This UTBK is the second wave of PTN entrance selection through the SBMPTN Pathway after several months earlier it was held through the SNMPTN Pathway. Participants who do not pass UTBK can still try their luck to register for the third wave of selection through the ISI Yogyakarta Independent Pathway.
