SEMAR Application Launching Faculty of Recording Media Arts (FSMR) ISI Yogyakarta

On Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at 13.00 WIB, the SEMAR (Electronic Mail for Recording Media) application was launched which was opened by the Rector of Institut Seni Indonesia (ISI) Yogyakarta, who on this occasion was represented by the Vice Rector I of ISI Yogyakarta and the Dean of the Faculty of Recording Media Arts (FSMR), Dr. Irwandi, M.Sn, through the Zoom Meeting application. The series of SEMAR application launch events consisted of Opening, Remarks from the Rector and Dean, Application Launch, Screening SEMAR app, as well as a Press Conference. SEMAR app launch through platform This Zoom Meeting was attended by structural officials within ISI Yogyakarta and the academic community of FSMR ISI Yogyakarta.

 

In his remarks, Dr. Irwandi, M.Sn. as the Dean of FSMR ISI Yogyakarta said that the SEMAR application is an effort to realize the following E-Office The Integrity Zone at FSMR ISI Yogyakarta is oriented towards public services. One form of service improvement is service bureaucratic reform and changing the form of manual services to digital according to the demands of the times. Semar is also a form of adjustment to the FMSR ISI Yogyakarta in this pandemic era which minimizes direct physical interaction.

 

The next speech was delivered by the Assistant Rector I, ISI Yogyakarta, who on this occasion represented the Rector of ISI Yogyakarta. In his remarks Dr. St. Hanggar Budi Prasetya, S.Sn., M.Si. Delivered congratulations from the Rector of ISI Yogyakarta to FSMR ISI Yogyakarta who succeeded in developing SEMAR and apologies from the Rector of ISI Yogyakarta for not being able to attend because he had another agenda of activities. Assistant Rector I, ISI Yogyakarta also conveyed that the development of Semar is a form of intelligence from the Faculty of Recording Media Arts which can be used as a pilot project at ISI Yogyakarta to develop similar applications. FSMR in utilizing budget refocusing and adjusting service formats in a pandemic era that minimizes physical interaction. Semar can be used as an inspiration for other faculties to develop similar applications. At the end of his remarks, the Assistant Rector I of ISI Yogyakarta also reminded the leaders at the Faculty of Performing Arts and the ISI Yogyakarta Postgraduate Program to prepare themselves for the Integrity Zone.

 

This SEMAR application is an application Online (online) which is intended for civitas academica both for lecturers, education staff, and students in the FSMR ISI Yogyakarta environment. The use of the SEMAR application is expected to maximize online classes that have been carried out so far to support health protocols in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic. In particular, the launch of the SEMAR application aims to reduce physical documents and direct interaction between lecturers and students, as well as education personnel, in order to minimize the accumulation of physical academic service activities in the campus environment. The SEMAR application was made with reference to the REGULATION OF THE MINISTER OF EDUCATION AND CULTURE of the Republic of Indonesia No. 6 of 2013 concerning DINASASAS STATA IN THE ENVIRONMENT OF THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION AND CULTURE. SEMAR is presented in the FSMR ISI Yogyakarta work environment as an effort to improve service accountability, implementation of digital-minded, and to improve service performance in the FSMR ISI Yogyakarta environment.

 

SEMAR will be integrated with the digital service menu that already exists on the official FSMR website (https://fsmr.isi.ac.id/). The application launched by FSMR is arguably pioneer in the ISI Yogyakarta campus environment. This application also appears to respond to the form of lectures Online/SEMAR is an online application that will still be implemented in the coming semester as the pandemic is not over yet. This SEMAR application contains interaction Online/ online which includes academic and student correspondence services, such as information on transcripts and SKL, Active Certificate, application for studio / equipment loan, application for permission to place / research / take pictures, application for KP / PKL / Grade Stamps, class schedules, Consultation schedules. Online students and lecturers, and others.

 

Currently all FSMR students have verified accounts in the SEMAR application. So, then students who apply for services must first fill in the submission form for the issuance of student letters. The letter will be created electronically through the SEMAR application and a copy of the letter will be sent through the student's email account. Students will be asked to fill in the proposer's data in the form of student name, NIM, Semester, Mobile Number, Email, Address, Study Level, Department, and Study Program.
