The Covid 19 pandemic has not dampened the enthusiasm of the ISI Yogyakarta academic community. One of them is by participating in the selection of contemporary art exhibitions in China. In this program, a number of artists who work as lecturers are asked to send their work via email to the committee team. This program in Indonesia is mediated by Yun Artified Community Art Center Jakarta. By providing this opportunity, a number of artists were able to exhibit in China.

A work by a lecturer at the Faculty of Fine Arts ISI Yogyakarta, Mikke Susanto, was included in the Virtual Exhibition of Contemporary Art in China, organized by the International Union of Art Universities 2019. The exhibition was attended by around 150 participants: art lecturers and professional artists. Most of them came from China, some from other Asian countries: Thailand, Korea, Central Asia, and others.
