[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Tiga dosen dari Fakultas Seni Pertunjukan ISI Yogyakarta yaitu Dr. Ni Nyoman Sudewi dan Prof.Dr. I Wayan Dana (dari Jurusan Tari) dan Dr. I Nyoman Cau Arsana (dari Jurusan Etnomusikologi), berhasil meraih Hibah Penelitian DRPM Ristekikti untuk periode 2018 dan 2019.
The Applied Grant Research carried out was entitled "Revitalization of Legong and Kebyar Aesthetics in the Creation of Masilelancingan Dance". One of the outputs was the creation and presentation of "Legong Kebyar Masilelancingan Dance" (2018), which was then refined again in 2019 into "Legong Kebyar Masilelancingan Pragina Pitu Dance".
Says legong and kebyar in the title sentence, directly related to genre Legong and Kebyar as a reference for dance work, while the term masilelancingan is a combination of words masila (sitting cross-legged) and lancingan (a traditional design or way of wearing cloth for men in Bali). This word is borrowed as the title and represents the theme of the dance. This theme is perceived to bring out the concept of 'two values' as is common in Legong, and other value concepts that are more open-ended, such as the themes in Kebyar.
Structurally this dance has parts whose names follow the name of the musical form that is used as a reference for the series of motion motifs, as well as dance music. These parts are the introduction (papeson )and core dances in the form of pangawit, pangawak, pangecet, penyalit, loosening, freezing, and penyuwud.
The socialization of the results of this creation research is not only through the performance of the work, but also workshops and workshops. FGD (in Yogya and in Bandung), as well as writing articles on MUDRA Journal of Cultural Artsand presenting papers in several seminar forums.
