[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Senin, 21 Oktober 2019, Fakultas Seni Media Rekam (FSMR) Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta memiliki hajat besar yaitu memperingati hari jadinya ke-25. Kegiatan belajar mengajar yang sudah dimulai dari tahun 1994/1995 menandakan kini FSMR telah berumur seperempat abad dan terus mencetak sarjana-sarjana muda yang mahir di hidang film, televisi, fotografi dan animasi.
To commemorate as well as provide offerings to the community, FSMR held an art event Exhibition and Screening of Recorded Media Artworks entitled " Recorded Media Arts in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 " which consists of film screenings, animations, and exhibitions of photographic works. The exhibition, which was opened by the Rector of ISI Yogyakarta, Prof. Dr. M. Agus Burhan, M. Hum, in the Auvi Room at 09.00 WIB, lasted until October 25, 2019. In his remarks, the Rector of ISI Yogyakarta hoped that the Jalan Menuju Media Kreatif (JMMK) #11 exhibition which coincided with the anniversary of the Faculty of Recording Media Arts and took the theme of Recording Media Art in the Era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, was considered suitable because recording media art always goes hand in hand with the development of digitalization today, but in its development it becomes an extension to explore. Recording media art has gained space and results that are very fast in achieving work, but technology is not the only thing needed in work because every art person in his creative concept still needs human thought and creativity that cannot be done by machines and technology.
Today's Faculty of Recording Media Arts must be able to combine technology and aesthetic sense. JMMK, which is held every year and is the fruit of collaboration between other universities at home and abroad, will be an advantage that distinguishes it from other exhibitions. This exhibition is a comparison of how the creative process that has been carried out can provide conclusions on how a recording media art can develop. The methods used in the art of recording media can be compared with other campus partners. Now that FSMR is 25 years old, I hope it will continue to develop to meet civilization and the times.
At the photography exhibition, interesting photos will be displayed which are divided into several genres such as journalism, expression and commercial results from the work of lecturers and colleagues. Approximately 85 works displayed in the Pandeng Gallery and the lobby of the FSMR Photography Department will provide a new discourse for the audience about the development of photography today.
On the same day, the Auvi FSMR room also held a screening of films and animations made by students. The screening is divided into two sessions, namely in session I at 09.00-11.00 WIB and session II at 13.00-15.00 WIB. The movie screening which lasts for five consecutive days will showcase the work of students who are very entertaining.
The art exhibition agenda which is an annual agenda of FSMR, more popularly called Jalan Menuju Media Kreatif (JMMK) #11, is a series of events to commemorate the faculty's birthday. What's interesting about the series of events is that there will also be a shadow puppet show. The shadow puppet show will be held on October 23 at 19.00 WIB in the parking lot of Concert Hall isi Yogyakarta with puppeteer Ki Seno Nugroho. The puppet show is open to the public as a presentation from FSMR to the community and it has become a tradition for FSMR to always preserve the nation's culture both in the form of works produced and cultural performances in every big event.
