Guidelines for Selection of New Students for Regular Independent Pathways for Diploma and Undergraduate Programs Academic Year 2019/2020

 ISI Yogyakarta organizes the selection of Regular Independent Pathways for Diploma and Bachelor Programs at the level:

I. UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAM EDUCATION (S1)

The undergraduate education program at ISI Yogyakarta is carried out to produce academicians and practitioners who are creative, productive, as global Indonesian artists, namely scholars who have a mature soul and personality and are responsive to all forms of community aspirations and the development of art, science and technology for the welfare of society, nation and state.

II. EDUCATION OF APPLIED BACHELOR (D4) AND ASSOCIATE EXPERT (D3) PROGRAMS

Education for the Applied Bachelor Program (D4) and Associate Expert Program (D3) at ISI Yogyakarta is carried out to produce educated experts who are ready and mature in applying expertise in the field of study pursued and able to internalize the spirit of independence and entrepreneurship.

III. EDUCATION PROGRAM EXPERT PRATAMA (D1)

The Primary Expert Program (D1) education at ISI Yogyakarta is carried out to produce art practitioners and cultural assistants. This program is a collaboration between the Yogyakarta Regional Government and ISI Yogyakarta as a pilot for vocational education at the Yogyakarta State Community Academy of Arts and Culture (AKNSBY).

IV. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS AND HEALTH REQUIREMENTS

A. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Applicants are graduates of SMA / SMK / MA / Package C as evidenced by diplomas / STTB and SKHUN (specifically 2019 graduates are proven by a Certificate of Passing along with the results of the National Examination Score signed by the Principal)
  • Applicants who have been registered as students at ISI Yogyakarta must report in writing to the committee.

B. HEALTH REQUIREMENTS

Participants are required to have health requirements so as not to interfere with the smooth learning process as as follows:

  • Faculty of Performing Arts: Healthy lungs, ENT, no physical disabilities, deafness, stuttering that can interfere with the study process, and specifically for the Dance, Theater, Sendratasik, Pedalangan Study Programs are required not to be color blind according to a specialist doctor.
  • Faculty of Fine Arts: Not color blind according to a specialist, not physically handicapped, with a stutter that could interfere with the study process.
  • Faculty of Recording Media Arts: Not color blind according to a specialist, not physically handicapped, with a stutter that could interfere with the study process.

V. REGISTRATION TIME

Registration and File Submission Time June 11 to July 11, 2019

VI. SELECTION MEASUREMENTS

Participants who have been declared Passed Verification can follow selection test according to the predetermined schedule

VII. TIME and PLACE OF SELECTION TESTS

A. EXAM TIME                 

  • Faculty of Performing Arts: July 17, 18, and 19, 2019
  • Faculty of Fine Arts: July 17, 2019
  • Faculty of Recording Media Arts: July 17 and 18, 2019  

B. EXAM PLACE

The venue for the selection exam is in each study program according to the schedule and room capacity. The exam starts at 08.00 WIB and participants are requested to be present 30 minutes before the exam starts. Participants are required to bring a Test Participant Identity Card. The Diploma 1 (D1) Program selection exam was held on July 17, 2019 at the AKNSBY Pilot Campus (Jalan Parangtritis Km 5 Yogyakarta).

VIII. ANNOUNCEMENT OF SELECTION TEST RESULTS

The results of the ISI Yogyakarta New Student Admission Selection Test for the 2019/2020 Academic Year will be announced on the page http://isi.ac.id or  http://pmb.isi.ac.id in the Announcement column, , and through print media published in Yogyakarta on the date of July 30, 2019 (The decision of the selection test results is inviolable)

Beware of fraud attempts on behalf of the PMB Committee. The committee does not contact personally / by telephone to all applicants / prospective students.
