Yogyakarta, June 9, 2026 — Jerry Bayu Mawardi, a student from the Dance Department, Faculty of Performing Arts, Indonesian Institute of the Arts (ISI) Yogyakarta, has achieved a proud accomplishment at the Djarum Essay Contest 2025/2026. Jerry was selected as a Regional Finalist and secured 6th place out of 10 selected essays, after going through a selection process from 134 Djarum Scholars from the Semarang Region.
This achievement serves as proof that ISI Yogyakarta students not only possess strengths in artistic practice and creation but are also capable of demonstrating intellectual quality, critical thinking skills, and argumentative ability through their written works.
