Yogyakarta, March 10, 2026 - Institut Seni Indonesia (ISI) Yogyakarta again shows its commitment in encouraging the birth of young entrepreneurs from among students through the opening of the Internal Selection of the Student Entrepreneurship Development Program (P2MW) Year 2026. This program is part of the campus's strategic efforts to integrate artistic creativity with the spirit of entrepreneurship in the higher education environment.
The P2MW program is a national program organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology to encourage the development of the entrepreneurial spirit of students through coaching, training, business assistance, and capital support. Through internal selection held at the college level, ISI Yogyakarta students have the opportunity to develop innovative business ideas that depart from creative potential and art knowledge.
In this program, students who pass the selection have the opportunity to obtain business funding of Rp15 million to Rp20 million, as well as get intensive assistance from mentors and opportunities to expand business collaboration networks. In addition, participation in P2MW can also provide SKS conversion, so that student entrepreneurial activities can be integrated with the academic process on campus.
P2MW 2026 internal selection is open to active students of S1 and D4 programs registered in PDDIKTI. Each student can only be part of one group consisting of 3 to 5 people, with one person as team leader. This program is designed to support various stages of student business development, from early stage businesses to growing businesses.
For the business category, ISI Yogyakarta students are encouraged to develop various fields that are relevant to the potential of the creative industry and the future economy, including creative industries, arts and culture, food and beverages, cultivation, manufacturing and applied technology, trade and tourism services, to digital businesses.
The internal selection stage is scheduled to take place in several stages. The deadline for submitting proposals is set for March 31, 2026, followed by the announcement of internal selection results on April 2, 2026. Successful participants will attend a proposal clinic and technical guidance on April 3, 2026, before uploading the proposal to the national system on April 4-6, 2026.
The presence of this program is also part of ISI Yogyakarta's strategy in strengthening the creative entrepreneurship ecosystem on campus. Through P2MW, students are expected to be able to develop businesses based on art, culture, and creativity that not only provide economic value, but also contribute to the development of the national creative industry.
