Yogyakarta, January 21, 2026 - Institut Seni Indonesia (ISI) Yogyakarta once again strengthens its role as a space for young generation creativity to grow through collaboration in “Laga Fotografi Kawula Muda 2026”, an on-the-spot photo competition aimed at young photographers from all over Indonesia with a total prize of Rp. 25,000,000.
The activity presented by the Federation of Indonesian Senifoto Societies (FPSI) is part of the 1st Indonesia International Youth Photo Festival 2026 (IIYPF) series, a collaboration between FPSI, ISI Yogyakarta and HISFA Yogyakarta. This event is expected to be a meeting place for young talents to work, exchange ideas, and compete in the atmosphere of an international photography festival.
The activity poster stated that participants could take part in the competition in single or team format (maximum of 3 people), with a maximum age of 25 years old. In addition to the competition, this activity is also an important momentum to celebrate the dynamic and growing spirit of young Indonesian photography.
The 2026 Kawula Muda Photography Competition is scheduled for February 8, 2026 starting at 07.30 WIB, at ISI Yogyakarta (Kalangan). The registration deadline is until January 25, 2026, with a registration contribution of Rp. 25,000 (single category) and Rp. 50,000 (team category).
