Jakarta - The Ministry in charge of higher education, science, and technology of the Republic of Indonesia held the “Inauguration of State University Leaders, Structural Officials, and PPPK” which was broadcast live on the ministry's official YouTube channel. In the Decree of the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia number 331/M/KLAN/M/KPT.KP/2025 dated December 8, 2025 concerning the Appointment of State Higher Education Leaders, Primary Leadership Officials, Heads of Departments, Supervisory Officials, and Functional Officials within the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology appointed Dr. Bhimo Widyo Andoko, S.H., M.H. as Head of the Planning, Finance, and General Bureau (BPKU) of Institut Seni Indonesia (ISI) Yogyakarta.
Taking the Oath or Promise of Office by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia (Prof. Ir. Togar Mangihut Simatupang, M.Tech., Ph.D.) held in Jakarta on Monday, December 8, 2025 was an important momentum for strengthening ISI Yogyakarta's institutional governance, especially in the fields of planning, financial management, and general services. Through this inauguration, the government affirms its trust in the new leadership of BPKU to ensure that budget management and campus resources are more accountable, transparent, and in line with national policies in the field of higher education.
Ministry officials emphasized that university leaders and structural officials must be able to answer the challenges of modern governance, optimize digital transformation in administrative services, and maintain integrity in every planning and budgeting process. The inauguration is not only interpreted as filling positions, but also as an affirmation of commitment to performance and clean public services.
For ISI Yogyakarta, the appointment of the new BPKU Head is expected to strengthen the institution's capacity in strategic planning, performance-oriented financial management, and improving the quality of general services for the academic community. BPKU, plays a central role as a node of program planning, budgeting, to monitoring realization, so that strong leadership in this position is one of the keys to the successful implementation of campus programs.
In the future, the BPKU ISI Yogyakarta is expected to be able to integrate the direction of national policies in the field of higher education with the institution's strategic plan, including supporting the development of the Tridharma of higher education, strengthening the academic and artistic reputation of ISI Yogyakarta, and expanding cooperation networks with various domestic and foreign partners. Credible and effective financial management is an important foundation so that all programs and innovations in the arts can be carried out sustainably. The inauguration of the Head of BPKU at the ministerial level also marks ISI Yogyakarta's commitment to continue to strengthen campus governance that is modern, has integrity, and is service-oriented. With the support of new leadership in BPKU, ISI Yogyakarta targets to improve institutional performance which has a direct impact on the quality of services to students, lecturers, education staff, and strategic partners of the institution.
