Yogyakarta, November 11, 2025 - Institut Seni Indonesia (ISI) Yogyakarta once again showed its progress in the international arena through the completion of the Conservation Photography Research Project under the ASEA-UNINET program that took place from 16 September to 7 October 2025 in Austria and France.
In this activity, ISI Yogyakarta collaborated with Dr. Patricia Engel from the University for Continuing Education Krems, Austria, and involved cross-disciplinary collaboration between ISI Yogyakarta and Gadjah Mada University researchers.

The research team conducted academic visits, technical training, and collaborative discussions at world-leading institutions such as the University of Applied Arts Vienna, Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, and Bibliothèque Nationale de France. Through these activities, the team gained in-depth insights into art conservation and photography while expanding their international research network.

This program is an important step in strengthening ISI Yogyakarta's position as a center of excellence for art research in Southeast Asia that is committed to technology-based cultural heritage preservation. In addition to enriching academic knowledge, this activity also emphasizes the active role of ISI Yogyakarta in encouraging global collaboration in the fields of art conservation and applied science.
